Yoga Supporter To Come Up With An Encyclopedia On Yoga

Are you an exponent of Yoga? If you ever wished to know more about the effectual yogic asanas then your desire has come true. An exponent is all set to release an encyclopedia on Yoga. An Indian author will write it who knows everything about the practice. The practice has emerged out to be a great work out for your body and mind. The creator of this idea is K Raghavendra R Pai from Karnataka. This man has got thirty years of experience as an international resource person. The creators of the plan are planning to keep the name of encyclopedia as ‘Yoga Vishwakosha’. They will write it in Kannada.

What does the exponent say?

Pai told TOI that this encyclopedia will cover all the topics associated with Yoga. It will also embrace other sciences about human body and mental peace. The director of SDM college of Naturopathy and Yogic sciences , Pai holds D Litt honors from Hampi Kannada University. He also told TOI that he has already started working on the encyclopedia. They will release the book within 18 month.  Sri Vedavyasa Yoga Prathishshtana will publish the same. The encyclopedia will solve various mysteries about the practice. It will explain things in a better way than how it is done today.

People often misrepresent Yoga. In his interview, Pai added, “We have encyclopedias on the practice compiled by foreign writer in the market. Similarly, there are many dictionaries in the market that are dedicated to Yogic science. ‘Yoga Vishwakosha’ will prove out to be the first encyclopedia to focus on. all the aspects of Yoga including asanas, Soorya Namaskar, Mudra and other related sciences. The encyclopedia will also include 121 asanas including ‘Anthariksha Yoga’ mentioned in ‘Sritattvanidhi’, written by Mummadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar III, Maharaja of Mysuru.”

Several volumes will follow the encyclopedia but these people will dedicate the first one to only asanas. Pai was a part of Yoga sessions in several countries such as Singapore, Qatar and Sri Lanka. ‘Veitnam Book of Records Certificate’ was one of the achievements of the men for setting the records twice. The man has many more achievements. But this one is going to be helpful for all Yoga exponents and followers.
